The parents and family of a
young graduate of Economics from the University of Benin identified
simply as Egoli from Asaba, Delta State, have been in mourning when the
lady allegedly committed suicide because her fiancé dumped her and got married to another lady in Lagos without her knowledge.

friends of the lady who just finished her National Youth Service Corps
scheme, disclosed that she was shattered when she discovered that the
man she had dated for over three years and had hoped to get married to
actually went behind her back to marry another woman, so she decided to
end her life by drinking poisonous substance suspected to be sniper.
According
to the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Celestina
Kalu, Egoli's lifeless body was discovered in her room in the morning by
her younger brother who raised an alarm.
Beside her on the bed was the can of the poison and a suicide note stating why she took her life.
