Firefighting efforts at China's explosion site have been suspended
because of uncertainty about the contents and amount of "dangerous
goods" in the warehouse which sparked the blasts.
The Binhai New District government in Tianjin city made the announcement on its official weibo page, Reuters news agency reported.
Nearly 300 people are still under observation in hospital following the deadly incident, with 32 critically injured.
Around 1,000 residents have been evacuated to a primary school and supplies including food and water are being distributed.
